This is a circuit of a Walkie Talkie operating frequency of 27MHz, citizens band or PX. Its operation is simple when the walkie-talkie is in the receive mode, the first transistor is configured as a receiver and audio then passes through a volume control and the three transistor amplifier.
When the Walkie-talkie is in the transmit mode, the speaker is placed at the input of audio amplifier functioning as mic.The audio is then amplified and reaches the transmitter. The crystal is connected to the first phase and gain of the transistor. The transmitter will operate up to 20m.
